00:07 Hi! Welcome to our tiny home here at Eden Faith Garden.
00:11 Let's go and see what's inside.
00:14 [Music]
00:19 This is our balcony.
00:21 At the same time, our dining area.
00:23 This is where we hang out, eat, and chat.
00:28 And this is where we welcome our friends every time they come over.
00:31 Most of the things that we have here come from the Japan surplus.
00:36 We bought this table for 3,000 pesos.
00:40 These tables are actually office tables which we converted into serving tables.
00:47 And it also came from the Japan surplus.
00:50 So I like this area because you can see the whole area, our whole farm.
00:58 So we really like staying here because it's windy,
01:02 at the same time, it's bright.
01:04 All you can see are greens and all those trees around.
01:08 If you come over here,
01:11 the first thing that will surprise you before you enter the house is actually this very big door.
01:17 And it has a special feature.
01:21 This is where our door or screen door closes.
01:27 [Music]
01:32 The lot area is around 5,700 square meters.
01:36 And the floor area is, total is 46 square meters.
01:41 So 18 square meters is the balcony.
01:44 And the livable space is around 28 square meters.
01:48 That includes the seven square meter loft.
01:51 [Music]
01:53 I've always loved to stay in a farm.
01:56 Because I grew up with a garden.
02:00 I grew up with a big environment, with animals, and things like that.
02:06 So probably that's the reason why we were able to come up with Eden Faith Garden.
02:12 It's not just me, but also my husband.
02:14 He grew up with that.
02:16 [Music]
02:18 When you enter, the first thing that will surprise you is our king-size bed.
02:23 As you can see, the bed's orientation is like this because the house is actually facing east.
02:29 And of course, if it's facing east, when you wake up in the morning, you'll get sunburned.
02:36 So as early as 6.30, it's hot here.
02:39 What does that mean? We have to wake up very early so we won't get too hot.
02:44 What's nice about this bed is it's customized and we have small drawers here.
02:50 This is where we put our clothes every time we come here.
02:53 Because we stay here in this farmhouse three days in a week.
02:58 Our table there is also a Japan surplus.
03:01 [Music]
03:04 If you come over here, you can see our kitchen counter.
03:08 This one is made up of quartz and the sink is made up of granite.
03:13 And it also has a two-burner stove.
03:16 And this is where we cook our food.
03:19 In front of it, you can also see our kitchen cabinet.
03:23 This cabinet also came from the surplus shop.
03:27 And this door, this barn door that I really like, if you open it, you can see our bathroom.
03:36 It is also tiny. It already has the bathroom and at the same time, the toilet.
03:41 [Music]
03:44 We acquired this property sometime last 2019, months before the pandemic.
03:49 While I was scouting for a property for my client,
03:52 then it did not fit the preference or the specs of my client.
03:56 I saw that it suits us.
03:58 [Music]
04:00 So you can see here, we have a step.
04:03 This step goes up to our loft.
04:06 And in that loft, that's where my son sleeps.
04:09 And sometimes, when his cousins and friends come, they are all there.
04:14 It actually can accommodate up to six people who can sleep up there.
04:19 [Music]
04:21 The construction of the house started January of 2022 up to middle of May 2022.
04:29 This property, its elevation is 620 plus meters above sea level.
04:34 So, it is at the same level as Tagaytay.
04:37 So if you know Tagaytay, it's quite cold, sunny, windy, foggy.
04:43 Almost all the buenos, when they hear Eden, that's their impression.
04:49 It's like Tagaytay.
04:51 [Music]
04:52 The total cost for the house structure is around Php 970,000.
04:59 Then including the things, appliances, furniture, and some fixtures,
05:05 maybe all of it is around Php 1.3 million.
05:07 [Music]
05:09 We do plan to put up an outdoor kitchen.
05:11 There is a structure there that is empty, it's just being built.
05:15 That is actually where my son will be having his outdoor kitchen
05:21 because he's into culinary right now.
05:24 Aside from that, we have a structure that is already built.
05:28 That's going to be our grape area.
05:30 We want to add the other fruits that we planted here.
05:34 So, that's what we're going to add.
05:37 And maybe three to five years from now, we might be building the main house here,
05:42 which will really be our house.
05:45 [Music]
05:51 And this is our tiny home.
