00:09 We named our place Klimba Villa after our two cats, Clay and Simba.

00:27 If you can notice, it's like a house but this is our main house and this is our guest house.
00:34 For the theme, it's really modern tropical but we still want to mix in some industrial touch.
00:40 So the walls are bare concrete finish.
00:44 So for this one, we used smart blocks from Smart Masonry.
00:47 And here, as you can notice, we have windows from top to bottom because we want to take advantage of the natural lighting.
00:55 And so that there's proper ventilation in our house.
00:59 The name Klimba Villa comes from our two cats, namely Simba and Clay.
01:09 We just combined them together and it became Klimba Villa.
01:11 So the total lot area of this property is 186 square meters.
01:19 So our house is around 90 square meters and this villa is around 90 square meters as well.
01:26 So our house itself, our floor area is around 30 square meters just for the studio unit of the condominium.
01:33 For this villa, the floor area is around 60 square meters not including the pool and the kitchen area.
01:40 Welcome again to Klimba Villa. We're here in the outdoor area.
01:48 So as you can see, this pool is valley inspired.
01:51 We used Sukabumi and black lava stone sourced directly from Indonesia.
01:56 We want to be aligned with the modern tropical theme.
02:00 So we added greens around the area of the pool.
02:05 And I'll just share, this is our favorite spot in the whole property.
02:08 Because every time we swim or our guests, you'll feel like you're transported to another place.
02:15 You'll feel like you're still in the nature even if you're just here in Metro Manila.
02:19 We saw this lot through Facebook Marketplace.
02:30 Before we saw this, we already had a lot that we wanted to buy.
02:35 But it didn't last.
02:37 We had problems with the owner.
02:41 Then the night that day, I saw this lot.
02:46 So we went to it at 7pm.
02:49 When we got to the lot, it was already perfect for us.
02:53 Here in Klimba Villa, we have two bedrooms.
02:58 Let's go to the first bedroom.
03:00 So we're here in the main bedroom of the villa.
03:07 If you'll notice, we have the same exterior and interior wall finishes.
03:12 We just added bricks and PVC wall cladding for additional accent walls.
03:17 Klimba Villa is inspired by a local hostel in the Union, which is the Vessel Hostel.
03:29 Since we love to travel, whenever we stay in a place,
03:34 we always look for good materials.
03:38 We've always dreamed of having a beach house in La Union or Siargao.
03:43 We had the opportunity to create our own.
03:49 Here in the main bedroom, we have a sofa that can be converted into a bed,
03:56 a double-sized bed, and a sliding barn door that leads us to the toilet and bath.
04:03 For the design of the toilet and bath, we used the same tiles of the bedroom on the floor and walls,
04:09 but we cut it into different sizes so that the shower area will have an accent.
04:14 For the outdoor area, we also have a dining and kitchen.
04:24 So for the tiles, the tiles we used in the bedroom are the same as the ones we used on the floors
04:30 and the backsplash for continuity.
04:32 Instead of using solid walls, we used breeze blocks for proper ventilation.
04:37 Now, if you remember, these blocks are used in old houses,
04:42 but we gave it a new identity and we tried to incorporate it in the modern design
04:46 to give accent walls to the whole property.
04:49 And here, our spiral stairs will lead us to the second bedroom.
04:53 Let's go there.
04:54 We're here now in the second bedroom of Klimba Villa.
05:02 So since we can accommodate up to 8 persons, we have a double deck with pull-out bed.
05:08 And also, we used floor-to-ceiling jalousie windows for proper ventilation
05:12 and also so that we can enjoy the view of the pool area.
05:15 And our toilet and bath will not be missing.
05:17 What we learned in having a rental business is that your patience must be long.
05:28 Since there are customers who will inquire about you and their questions are different.
05:34 And we understand since they will stay and spend money,
05:39 so they want to have the best experience.
05:41 So regarding the noise control, we have reminders that initially,
05:47 upon booking, we have rules that loud noises are only allowed until 10pm.
05:52 And we avoid to have them bring karaoke
05:56 because we want to maintain the place as serene and calm.
06:01 For the rates, if you plan to rent the room in front of the pool,
06:11 which is good to 2 to 4 packs, and the use of the whole villa is still exclusive to you,
06:16 it's Php 5,000.
06:17 If you're a larger group, which is up to 8 packs,
06:21 you can rent the whole villa for Php 8,000.
