00:00Hello, OG! I'm Zyra. We're here in Lubo, Batangas.
00:04Please follow us to our home, the Wiener's Cabin.
00:14Here in the Wiener's Cabin, this is our outdoor area where we can see the pool,
00:19where my nieces and nephews are swimming.
00:22And also, here we can see the chilling area for the oldies.
00:27Also, we can see that the surroundings are greenery
00:30because the owners of the house, Ate and Kuya Joel, are plantitos and plantitas.
00:39This is my sister. They've been in Texas for 10 years.
00:42My sister is a nurse there, and her husband is an instrumentation engineer.
00:47So, the inspiration of the house is that my sister likes to watch Netflix
00:52with home tours, house tours, hotel accommodations, and modern houses.
00:57So, that's where she came up with the style of how to make this cabin.
01:03This Wiener's Cabin is inspired by the wood cabins in other countries.
01:08And also, it was inspired by modern hotels, including the old and new houses.
01:22So, here's another chilling area.
01:24This is our rattan swing.
01:26So, in the morning, my mom or my dad, or my sister, drinks coffee here.
01:31And then, in the afternoon, we sit here to watch the sunset.
01:36And at night, the kids chill here and watch the stars.
01:46So, another outdoor place is our grilling area.
01:50This is where my brother-in-law and my brother-in-law hang out.
01:53They grill here and make steaks.
01:56So, because we have a grilling area outside,
01:59my sister and my brother-in-law thought of making an outdoor sink.
02:03So, we won't go inside or walk in front of the house.
02:13So, we're inside the Wiener's Cabin. Let's go!
02:17So, upon entering, we can see the lounge area.
02:21This is where my family and I hang out.
02:23If we don't want to do outdoor activities,
02:26we can do indoor activities like storytelling, watching movies,
02:31and the kids can watch cartoons.
02:34And then, the concept of this place is open space.
02:36So, it's included in our kitchen.
02:39So, the last size is 150 square meters and the floor size is 40 square meters.
02:46So, the material used in the cabin is concrete for the durability of any weather.
02:52And then, the furniture is synthetic rattan.
02:56Then, the bunk beds we made are marine woods.
03:09So, this is our kitchen area.
03:11We can see our island here, which is an extension of the sink.
03:15And also, we're already complete.
03:17We have an induction stove, microwave, refrigerator, and also the exhaust.
03:25So, when it's smoky, it won't stay inside for too long.
03:30And this is our island.
03:31This is what we do on birthdays.
03:33This is where we prepare.
03:36And the kids, during breakfast, watch TV, cartoons, laugh, and tell stories.
03:47So, here in our winner's cabin, we have one shared bathroom.
03:51Let's go inside.
03:53So, we have a sink here.
03:55We have a toilet.
03:58And then, they put a glass in the shower room so we can feel the hotel vibes.
04:06And also, we have a laundry here.
04:08So, if you have dirty clothes, the clothes that the kids use, and they don't have anything extra,
04:13you can also toss them in the laundry.
04:20So, this lot is already inherited by the parents of my brother-in-law.
04:25They thought of building a house here because the view is beautiful.
04:30You can see the top of the mountain.
04:32Overall planning, I think it started last year.
04:36The construction started last November, and then, it ended this July 2022.
04:47This is the kids' room.
04:48So, since my sister and brother-in-law have three kids, they made a customized bunk bed.
04:53So, when our family goes here, this is where the kids sleep, play, and band.
04:59Since our area is small, my sister and brother-in-law made sure to maximize the space.
05:04So, like this bunker bed, they also made a storage.
05:20The lot is free because it's already inherited by the parents of my brother-in-law.
05:25So, overall, they spent around ₱3 million on the construction, including the furniture and appliances.
05:33During the construction, they had a hard time building the pool
05:37because the kind of soil is a bit soft, and it has a lot of big rocks underneath.
05:44So, that's probably the hardest part.
05:46And then, providing water at first to fill the pool.
05:55Their future plans is a retirement home because they are residing abroad.
06:01And also, since my brother-in-law is an engineer,
06:04he's thinking of making this an eco-friendly, sustainable house.
06:08They will put solar here, so the electricity will be better,
06:14it will be cheaper, and it will also be eco-friendly.
06:18Thank you!
06:24Our access to the master's bedroom here at the Winner's Cabin is outside.
06:30So, it's nice to feel it because every morning when my sister-in-law and brother-in-law wake up,
06:36they can see the pool, the vibes of our mountains, and the breeze of fresh air.
06:43So, this is the inside of our master's bedroom.
06:46My brother-in-law and my sister-in-law are very minimalist.
06:49You will notice that the design inside is very simple.
06:52And their bed is customized.
06:54We can see a lot of storage here, and it's very Japanese-inspired.
06:58And this door, it also has a way to go to our shared bathroom.
07:10So, for those who want to come here, for those who want to relax,
07:13you can visit our page, Winner's Cabin.
07:18You are all welcome here to feel a house full of love,
07:24and the view, nature, and peace of mind.
07:34So, that's the end of our house tour.
07:36I hope you enjoyed and were inspired by my sister-in-law's story,
07:40If you are dreaming of having your own house, start now!
