00:41So, I mean, look, obviously, Rory, overwhelming favorite here at this event, as he should
00:46be.
00:47Maybe not as much as he would be.
00:49Remember, they used to play this event at Glen Abbey.
00:52Rory won it, actually, when it was at Glen Abbey.
00:54And actually, Rory won it when it was at a different course.
00:57They haven't played at this course since 2019, I believe.
01:01They've rotated it around a little bit.
01:03This course, I think, is going to play a little bit more to the wedges.
01:07They have, what they did is they've renovated it to basically block off some of the bombing
01:13alleys for these guys.
01:15They've narrowed the fairways.
01:16They made the rough a little bit more deep.
01:18So we're going a little bit deeper down the board.
01:20We are beginning with one Mr. Davis Thompson.
01:23I mean, look, we had Davis Riley win last week.
01:27So I think it's only right for us to go a little bit further down the board.
01:31Thompson having an awesome season, T2 at the Myrtle Beach Classic for him.
01:35He is gaining strokes on approach more or less every single week.
01:38He's had some truly awful putting performances this year, but also gains a lot of distance
01:44off the tee.
01:45I really do just want to attack this 55 to 100 to 1 range quite a bit.
01:51Yeah.
01:52And you actually go next with an old friend of ours, the Gim Reaper.
01:57You're going to get involved with this week.

02:01So our friends over at data golf have him as one of the better bets of the entire week.
02:05He is not writing particularly hot form into this event.
02:08He does not have a T8 since the Mexico open.
02:11I mean, look, maybe he just loves a country open.
02:14So you take him us open Canada, open Mexico open.
02:17That's where you get it.
02:18But one of the better approach players on tour, not a particularly strong driver of
02:23the golf ball.
02:24And again, I'm not thinking you're going to have to crush the driver this week.
02:28I think that's I mean, obviously, you're going to want to gain strokes to the driver.
02:31But I think there are other ways to gain strokes on this course.
02:35Mostly, it's going to be irons and putting.
02:37And then our final guy here was a little bit surprised that our friends at bet MGM were
02:42hanging this price 90 to 1 on Nikolai Hogyard.
02:45Now, he's actually been completely brutal since that really strong showing at the Masters.
02:50I mean, he was one of the better players in the field of the Masters totally melted
02:55down on Sunday, but a winner on the DP World Tour Championship this year.
03:00Second at Torrey Pines, couple seconds, couple top fives over on the European tour did well
03:05at both the Scottish Open and the Open Championship last year.
03:08Just an all-around strong player.
03:10I just I mean, 90 to 1 at this event.
03:13It just felt I felt like he was a 50 to 1 player.
03:16Yeah.
03:17He's on my card as well this week, Davis, because when I take that first glance on Monday
03:22morning, I try to find two or three guys that just stick out and go that price is just can't
03:27be right.
03:28Like that's what you're looking for when you look at those odds first come up.
03:31And Hogyard was one of the two or three names that I immediately looked at and said this
03:3490 to 1.
03:36Are you kidding me here?
03:37So he was an immediate add for me as well this week.
03:41Euro tour.
03:42I know I said before, they're actually Green Eagle in Germany this week is where the DP
03:46World Tour is at.
03:47And you have a selection for us.

03:53I mean, more or less like betting the Corn Fairy Tour.

04:05Data Golf has him as the one hundred fifty seventh best player in the world, but really
04:09good run of form right now, T-10, T-3 back to back DP World Tour events.
04:14No wins over the last year, but has five different top tens, doesn't gain a ton of
04:19strokes off the tee, but is one of the more accurate players off the tee in the DP World
04:24Championship.
04:25A very good links player as well.
04:27This is even in terms of euro tour events, not one of their strongest events.
04:33So Paul wearing at forty to one on that MGM, one of my favorite selections.
04:39Women's U.S. Open this week as well in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, is where they are playing that.
04:46Of course, you have Nelly Korda as the heavy favorite with the run that she's been on so
04:51far this year.
04:52But you have someone who is actually, Davis, been gaining some social media notoriety over
04:59the last twenty four hours.
05:02That's Charlie.
05:03Of course, you've seen the video of the women golfer with the cigarette in her mouth signing
05:08all the autographs.
05:09That was her.
05:10Davis.
05:11OK, I'm not going to lie.
05:13That is definitely what got me to look into her results.
05:15I was like, wait, the world number eight golfer in the world.
05:18This woman is just ripping darts on the course.
05:20I mean, she's a phenomenal player.
05:22I've got I've got a couple of things here that you would not believe.
05:25The first one being Charlie Hole has finished exactly second in the last calendar year.
05:32Five times already last calendar year, five second place finishes.
05:36So something is going on there.
05:38She's definitely a little bit due.
05:39I mean, her form is quite good.
05:41The other thing I've got for you, Solheim Cup, you know, that is the women's version
05:47of the Walker Cup or the President's Cup.
05:49Guess who beat Nelly Korda in the Solheim Cup in a 2v2 matchup?
05:56One misses Charlie Hole on on September 23rd, 2023.

06:03I actually, you know, I don't know, maybe this is a Kaelin Clark thing.
06:07Maybe this is I've been more locked in on women's sports in general recently.
06:11Just I've been what the French Open has been quite good, Naomi Osaka in that crazy match

06:17But I really wanted a reason to sweat this LPGA other than rooting for Nelly Korda.
