Cakes helping Dementia UK charity in Bridgnorth.
Severn Valley Home Care were raising money via tea and cakes in Bridgnorth for Dementia UK. The care company has a lot of first hand experience with clients with dementia, and staff wanted to do something to help the charity that supports some of them.

00:22 My mum herself has dementia. She's 96 years old now and a lot of our clients that we support in their own homes also have dementia.

01:07 And yeah it's a lot of people are affected aren't they? Because obviously when someone gets dementia it's the whole family network as well isn't it?
01:14 Yeah.
01:15 You know it kind of runs down the line.
01:16 And dementia can start at any age basically. You have to be old to have dementia.
01:23 I think we kind of forget that actually yeah. So it can affect potentially what 40, 50?
01:29 Yes. We've got clients from the age of sort of late 50s up to the 90s with it.

01:36 Yeah that's the sport.
