00:10 The Indonesian Centre for Volcanology and Geological Hazard Mitigation reported that the volcano,
00:16 located on the island of Halmera, erupted on Monday afternoon following a small occurrence over the weekend.
00:23 The country, located along the Ring of Fire, a series of seismic fault lines around the Pacific Ocean,
00:29 has 120 active volcanoes.
00:32 In this instance, while no damage or casualties were reported,
00:35 authorities recommended the population to avoid the area,
00:38 with the institute also encouraging the use of masks and goggles for people going outdoors in locations close to the Ibu.
