00:15The Department of Budget and Management or DBM reported the government has released 4.96
00:20trillion pesos of the budget as of end April. This represents 86 percent of the 2024 national
00:26budget. Moreover, the agency said around 809.16 billion remains undistributed.
00:33The Bureau of the Treasury reported the subsidies provided to government-owned
00:37and controlled corporations or GOCCs dropped to 36.3 percent in March this year. Data show
00:43the financial support to GOCCs fell to 6.872 billion pesos in March from 10.795 billion
00:50pesos registered in the same month last year. Water concessionaire Maynilad Water Services
00:56announced several parts of Las Piñas City and Parañaque City are included in the list
01:01to be affected by water service interruptions due to decommissioning and diagnostics.
01:05The water service interruptions began at 6 p.m. yesterday in the barangays of Almanza 1,
01:11CA, Manuyo 2, and Pulanglupa 2 in Las Piñas, while the service intermissions are expected
01:18in Almanza 1 and BF Homes in Parañaque on Tuesday. Furthermore, some barangays in
01:23Quezon City are expected to experience water service interruptions tonight due to pressure
