Supermarket Sweep (S1, Ep 40 - Oct 29th 1993)

Today's happy shoppers are Corrine & Barbara from Gwyneth, Mark & Lisa from Essex, and Kendal & Mary from Warwickshire & Nottinghamshire. Dale Winton hosts and learns that one team were inspired by Blue Peter for their career choice, another team had to have a police escort to get there, while the third are a newly married couple who were wooed by mistletoe. It proves a case of two teams competing against each other, switching between scores in the quiz rounds, while the stragglers in third are buoyant when they actually get an answer right, such is their luck. But who will be lucky in the Super Sweep, where indecision and a points penalty could cost two teams and proves so chaotic that the winning team doesn't even realize that they've won? You'll just have to watch to find out...
