Supermarket Sweep (S1, Ep 45 - Nov 5th 1993)

Today's mad trolley dashers are Nancy & Mandy from Birmingham, Andrew & Duncan from Yorkshire, and Debs & Jane from Hertfordshire. Dale Winton hosts and learns that one team are sisters who work and even talk together, another team are workmates with ambitions for showbusiness, while the third are chaps who don't like heavy metal - either in music or in unusual places! And yes, it is as dubious as it sounds! You expect fireworks on Bonfire Night when this was broadcast, but one team goes way out in front in the quiz rounds. But will the contest fizzle out and be that simple when it comes to the Super Sweep, or will someone come from nowhere to earn the right to go for the £2,000 star prize?
