00:35 The sides disagree on whether this deal should end the war definitively and require Israel

00:43 to withdraw all his troops from the Gaza Strip.

00:46 That is the Hamas demand.

00:48 Of course, Hamas, they are trying to survive this war.

01:31 So it appears that we're again at a stalemate, and it may be why we're seeing Israel evacuate

01:38 the eastern part of Rafah, another part of its threat, its credible threat, to launch

01:43 a major military assault on the city despite U.S. opposition.
