Deaths trigger mass protests across Australia to end violence against women

Australians have marched in the streets nationwide to call for an end to gendered violence, which advocates warn has reached crisis levels, with Prime Minister Anthony Albanese attending the protest in Canberra, where advocacy groups demanded the government declare violence against women a national emergency.
