Where are the coolest neighbourhoods in Merseyside?

Baltic Triangle was named one of the coolest areas in the whole of the UK by Times Travel. But what do the locals think?

00:00I would say the coolest place in Liverpool and Merseyside is right here where we are now.

00:07Liverpool, I love Liverpool for its coolest places. West Kirby, Crosby, we go to the coolest places.

00:17I would say the Alba Dock itself because it's a nice scenery and it's a nice relaxation as well.

00:24But I think the coolest place in Liverpool is St Albans Dock. It's so beautiful.

00:30Each time I go there I keep on wanting to go back. I'm not tired of going there.

00:38You've got the water fountains which is behind me and you've got the playhouse which is in front of me

00:50There's loads of places. There's loads of places in Liverpool. There's nothing in London where I came from.

01:05as well as Cains Brewery Village and the hidden gem that is Red Brick Market.

01:22Basically, you've got the main attractions of places and buildings in Liverpool

01:29which is the city centre, the heart of Liverpool.

01:35The uncoolest place at the moment is Southport. It shouldn't be but it is.

01:42We like New Brighton but there's nothing there. They've taken everything away.

01:47The worst experience of New Brighton was they took away Wetherspoons.

01:55Now that was a hub for people to meet and everything like this.
