Teenage tour guides are being hired to show fans around Harry Styles' home town after an influx of visitors.

Some 5,000 fans - known as 'Harries' - have descended on the quaint Cheshire village of Holmes Chapel to follow the footsteps of the pop megastar in the past year.

The village has even produced its own map of the two mile tour which the local railway station ticket officer gives away for free.

00:00 I'm at the village where Harry Styles grew up, Holmes Chapel, to come and see the local
00:07 landmarks where he used to spend his time before he became famous. The locals in the
00:11 area decided to create a map because lots of fans were coming to the area to visit them
00:15 but they were endangering themselves by walking alongside main roads and walking through different
00:20 fields where they weren't meant to go. So we started off the route by following the
00:24 map at the train station. We then walked through different residential areas and through different
00:28 fields and made our way to the viaduct where Harry has previously signed his name. Now
00:33 lots of different fans go to the area, sign their own names and write different messages
00:37 for Harry and for the fans. We then made our way to the bakery where Harry started working
00:42 when he was 16 years old. This was before he was on the X Factor. There was different
00:47 pictures of him and when he was in One Direction in the bakery. So then we walked down to Fortune
00:52 City Chinese Restaurant which is next to where Harry grew up. Apparently he used to sit out
00:57 in his bedroom window with the window open and smell the Chinese. We then made our way
01:01 back to the train station where we'll be ending the tour.
