We ask people on the streets of Manchester if they think it was fair Kate Middleton felt she had to share personal information about her health, or if her privacy should have been respected.

00:08 and I have tears in my eyes when I was watching it,

00:11 because she's such a wonderful person.

00:13 She's absolutely amazing.

00:15 She's there to protect her family.

00:17 Yeah, she should come out.

00:19 If you're in the public eye, you know,

00:21 you can't pick and choose when you're in the public eye,

00:24 can you?

00:25 So, and if people have either conspiracy theories,

00:28 as you call them, or genuine concerns, why not?

00:33 Why shouldn't she come out and speak up and say,

00:36 "This is why I've been absent"?

00:38 She should have respected her privacy.

00:40 I think it was really, really cruel to just keep going on

00:46 and on and on at it.

00:47 It's obviously a huge thing, especially with the King as well,

00:52 having cancer.

00:54 It's a very private thing.

00:56 and yeah, yeah, I felt she was pushed into that.
