Manchester Day confirmed date for 2024

Manchester Day is back again for 2024, and the date of this year's celebration has been confirmed as Saturday July 27.
Last year's promenade-style event saw activities take place in a number of city centre locations, and this year's is set to have even more fun-filled free activities for all the family.
Manchester City Council is working with creative partners over the next few months to finalise the program for a jam-packed day that will see the city centre streets come to life with all kinds of things to see and do.
Last year the free event saw performers of all kinds take to the streets to entertain families and friends alike.
Councillor Pat Karney said Manchester Day has been a highlight in the city's events calendar for well over a decade.
He is excited to spend Manchester's favourite day of the year with Mancunians across the city-region.
