Ballarat community gather to support the family of missing mother Samantha Murphy

The Ballarat community has come together tonight to pay tribute to Samantha Murphy after a 22-year-old man was charged with murder following a month-long investigation into her disappearance.

00:08 For the first time since a man has been charged with murder over the disappearance of Samantha

00:12 Murphy, the community has come together.

00:16 There are hundreds of people lining up to sign a condolence book for Samantha's loved

00:20 ones and this memorial garden is an important place for the community.

00:24 It's where volunteers gathered before they went to search for Samantha over the past

00:27 few weeks.

00:28 Tonight, it's where they've come to grieve.

00:30 Many of them didn't even know the mother of three, but they've been deeply impacted.
