00:00 The detectives brought into the Samantha Murphy missing persons case have been recruited from
00:07 the Counter Terrorism Unit and Crime Command Unit.
00:11 Police have been quick to point out that they do not believe Ms Murphy's disappearance is
00:16 terrorism related, but say these detectives have expertise in protracted and complex investigations.
00:24 Despite several large scale searches from authorities and locals in the days following
00:30 Samantha's disappearance, there's been no sign of the 51 year old who was last seen
00:34 heading out for her regular morning jog on Sunday February 4th.
00:39 As the police investigation ramps up, the community's commitment to finding Samantha
00:44 is holding strong.
00:46 This weekend there's a major volunteer search planned with hundreds of people expected to
00:51 attend and scour bushland in the area.
00:54 We do it with as much support as we can, the bigger the turnout the better, the more chances
00:59 we have of finding her.
01:01 If they've got metal detectors or people that have been out jogging themselves, we're looking
01:09 for people to come forward.
01:11 The community search will kick off here at Eureka Stockade Memorial Park at 10 o'clock
01:16 on Saturday morning.
01:17 This location is just kilometres from where Samantha left for her morning run on that
01:22 fateful day.
