00:00 Close to 500 athletes will represent Australia in Paris starting in July.
00:06 And in a unique feature of this year's uniform, every single piece of kit will feature an
00:11 Indigenous design from two First Nations artists.
00:15 Olympic boxer Paul Fleming's design shows how the Olympics is a central meeting place
00:20 that brings people together from all different backgrounds.
00:23 And Torres Strait artist David Bosons has captured the elements of traditional and modern
00:28 ways of life in the Torres Strait and they are popular additions to the uniform.
00:32 It means a lot, you know, just having that little bit of input on about Jersey, it makes
00:38 me feel a little bit more calm and like I'm at home.
00:41 I think that when I put on this uniform I feel I'm not only representing Australia as
00:46 a country but I'm also representing my Indigenous culture as well.
00:50 The Games will be an exciting opportunity for experienced campaigners and for debutantes
00:55 as well.
00:56 By sort of approaching it like it doesn't feel like I've been to any before because
00:59 the excitement comes around, you have always different teams and different environments
01:03 and different oppositions and things like that so it kind of feels like it's just a
01:06 whole new one, sort of in a way feels like a new thing, like the first one so I'm still
01:11 really excited.
01:12 Yeah, making this dream a reality is a big milestone for us and it's a great achievement
01:17 for all athletes that try to be part of the Olympics and yeah, working towards it, working
01:24 hard and trying to get in.
01:27 The Paris Games will get underway on July 26.
