00:00 I'm sweating, but I found this chick ice cold in the barn.
00:04 I'm going to try and save it.
00:06 First with a blow dryer.
00:08 It's not moving at all.
00:10 Chrissy was putting her chickens away
00:12 when she found two frozen chicks that had just hatched.
00:15 And once one of the chicks perked up
00:17 with hot air from a blow dryer, she went back for the other.
00:20 This chick was way colder than the first,
00:23 because for 20 minutes, it still didn't move.
00:26 But when its feet slightly curled up,
00:28 she knew there was still hope.
00:30 And after 30 minutes, it started moving its eyes.
00:34 After 40, it even began to chirp.
00:38 Hi, honey.
00:39 That was a really close call.
00:42 We almost lost you.
00:43 Look at you, big, strong baby.
00:47 And now, both chicks are doing great,
00:49 happily wandering around and eating in the warm laundry
00:53 room, where they'll stay until all their feathers grow in
00:56 before joining their friends back at the barn.
