00:00 Today, this afternoon, detectives attached to Strike Force Ashfordby
00:06 have located a second crime scene in Bungonia, which is a separate location to
00:13 the scene that they had been searching yesterday and earlier. And at that
00:18 location we believe we have located two bodies. The families have been informed
00:26 and crime scene detectives have just arrived on scene at that location now
00:33 where a specialist forensic investigation will take place. We will,
00:40 so on behalf of the New South Wales Police Force, I'd like to pass on my
00:44 condolences to the Davies and Baird families, their friends and the LGBTQI+
00:53 communities in not just New South Wales but across Australia where they were
00:59 based and have many friendships. About 11 a.m. this morning, homicide squad
01:05 detectives attended the MWRC at Silverwater, spoke to the accused, just
01:12 acknowledged Detective Chief Inspector Glenn Brown and Detective Sergeant
01:16 Sasha Pernaza, who's the OIC of this matter, worked tirelessly the last few days.
01:20 They attended Silverwater Jail, spoke to the accused. As a result of that he
01:27 provided assistance to an investigation, were able to provide a location of where
01:34 Luke and Jesse were and as a result of that about one o'clock today homicide
01:42 squad detectives attended a location off Gerrara Road at Bungonia. It's about 20
01:49 minutes from the original search location where they have located what
01:56 they believe are the remains of Luke and Jesse. There were two surf bags have
02:03 been found, some other which had been covered with some debris, some other
02:07 items of interest and significance they're also located and at that stage
02:13 it was declared a crime scene and immediately the family were informed of
02:19 the development in this case and obviously as Commissioner said a crime
02:26 scene examination will be ongoing for some time. However, more importantly
02:34 arrangements have been made for the family to travel down to the Goulburn
02:39 area and we'll provide that ongoing support as we need to.
