Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi on Sunday (Feb 25) said the specialised Jelita Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programme involving women had been receiving good response and many participants had managed to choose the fields they wished to join.
00:00 What do you think about the development of women's debate in our country?
00:05 I think it's a good development because after school, most of the women's students are enrolled in higher education institutions.
00:18 We feel that they have made the right choice. That's why we have the Jelita Tibet to attract at least 150,000 participants for this Tibet until 2027.
00:41 I think the courses offered are suitable for the market and to attract more women entrepreneurs in the industry.
00:58 Not only in food and beverage, but also in other fields that can be exported, especially to produce a lot of raw materials or ingredients that are highly demanded abroad.
