00:00 I think we should be kind to the planet.
00:03 So I've been here today at Scottish Gas Murray Field with a bunch of kids
00:10 and we've been talking about stadiums of the future and what sustainability might look like.
00:14 Does anyone have any ideas of what they'd like to see in future stadiums?
00:23 In 20 years time I think the stadium will have solar panels.
00:28 So bring your own cup from home.
00:31 Water slides.
00:33 A drone can come over because you press a button and then it will ask you what you want
00:39 and then it will go away and get it.
00:41 Today it was fun because I liked sitting on Foon Russell's chair, number 10,
00:51 because I'm named after him.
00:55 I just met a girl and a boy who's actually playing rugby.
01:02 We want to make the carbon footprint smaller for the stadium here at Scottish Gas Murray Field, don't we?
01:08 Yeah!
01:09 I think it's one of the great things about the kids, the adults of tomorrow,
01:17 their awareness of the impact that they're having,
01:19 the sustainability, the responsibility that they have.
01:24 They've come up with some wacky ideas, I'm not going to lie,
01:26 but they're so creative, they're so imaginative.
01:29 I think it's so good that Scottish Gas and Scottish Rugby are partnering up
01:37 and the first thing that they're going to do is the view to decarbonising
01:41 the biggest stadium in Scotland here at Scottish Gas Murray Field.
01:45 I think the great thing is that it's going to filter down right across rugby,
01:50 to grassroots, to club rugby,
01:52 and I think that influence that they can have on Scotland
01:55 through the vehicle of the sport and the partnership is absolutely incredible
01:59 and something that I'm totally on board with.
