00:00 sort of halfway along the radio journey and the reason why we created this
00:05 charity which I would emphasize is very much there for people of all abilities
00:11 so not necessarily just special needs but we are there for everybody
00:16 including some very challenged young people or leading or from challenged
00:22 home lives as well right the way through to people who are looking to develop
00:27 their careers their hobbies everybody's developing their well-being and I think
00:32 the magic here is and Maggie at the back here she would hate me for pointing her
00:37 out but she is she's in charge of the magic she is the one who engages with
00:42 the children and the young people and provides this extraordinary place of
00:46 welcome and I think this is it young people need to know that adults believe
00:51 in them and they don't always get that impression and not every adult does
00:56 believe in young people so when they do it's such a beneficial thing to arrive
01:02 in a space where you can create your creativity you can develop your
01:07 creativity in the audio and radio or music without fear of being laughed at
01:12 and in the spirit of we can do this we can all take our lives to where they can
01:20 go and we can be self-fulfilled we can get that going into young minds and
01:26 young hearts then we're creating better futures and they're most importantly
01:31 creating their own futures I was really touched when Katrina approached us and
01:36 said she wanted to raise for this charity her son Anthony's been with us a
01:41 live one and I know how much Maggie looks forward to your afternoons with
01:49 her that's fantastic and I don't need to pick him out there's so many young
01:56 people who come in and enjoy that little space that we create for them so I was
02:01 very touched when you said that you'd like to get one here to make a little
02:05 contribution to what we're doing it's a fantastic local charity you're bound to
02:10 expect me to say that but I really do appreciate I appreciate your attention
02:15 today I appreciate anything that you're going to give to us because I can tell
02:20 you one thing about this charity it is one of great warmth and great heart and
02:26 if those who support us and buy into that all donations go to delivering this
02:33 stuff and I think that's a really important thing to mention so I won't
02:38 keep you from your bingo Anthony has pointed out I have blocked the bingo
02:42 table with the sign here so I'll be moving that in good time I won't keep
