00:00 "When we got the chance to work for 15 years, what happened in Bihar?
00:09 What used to happen?
00:13 In the evening, any person used to come out of the house."
00:20 In a dramatic turn of events, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has emerged victorious in a trust vote held in the State Assembly earlier on Monday.
00:28 Just moments before the crucial vote of confidence, the opposition led by the Rashtriya Janata Dal or RJD walked out of the Assembly.
00:36 Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, who heads the Janata Dal United, accused Tejasvi Adav's party of corruption, alleging that they were involved in money-making activities.
00:45 In the absence of the opposition, Kumar initially proved his majority through a voice vote.
00:50 However, later on, he insisted on manual voting to solidify his mandate.
00:55 The results were resounding with 129 votes in favour and none against, securing a decisive victory for his government.
01:02 Nitish Kumar, who recently severed ties with the RJD and aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP,
01:08 took the opportunity to launch a scathing attack on Tejasvi Adav's parents, Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi.
01:14 He vowed to investigate alleged corruption by RJD leaders, promising accountability and transparency in governance.
01:21 "Do you remember when we started working? Since 2005.
01:31 And since 2005, how much has Bihar developed since then?
01:39 And before us, their father and mother got the opportunity to work for 15 years.
01:46 So what happened in Bihar?
01:51 What used to happen?
01:53 In the evening, would any man leave his house?
02:01 Just think about it.
02:04 And was there a road somewhere?
02:06 Was there a way somewhere?
02:09 And when we got the opportunity, and they told us that they had Muslims with them,
02:16 how much of a Muslim-Hindu fight would there be?
02:19 And when we came, the Hindus and Muslims started fighting.
02:23 And when did this happen?
02:25 Till today, we have to forget.
02:28 If you know the history,
02:30 the history of before 2005,
02:34 and after that, the way the Muslims were treated,
02:38 and whatever happened,
02:40 we did not do it for 15 years.
02:42 And when we got the opportunity, we immediately took action.
02:46 What work is there that we are forgetting?
02:48 Kumar also mentioned his efforts to bring together various political parties,
02:52 referring to the failed attempts to form a broader coalition, notably mentioning the India bloc.
02:57 Speaking before the floor test, Tejasvi Yadav pledged to stand against the BJP and PM Narendra Modi.
03:03 Taking a sweep at Nidhish Kumar, Tejasvi Yadav criticized the CM for switching alliances multiple times during one term.
03:10 The pain is for the people's party, the people's party of United,
03:15 for the people's party of United,
03:17 that the PM can do whatever he wants,
03:22 but the people's party will not go and answer the people's party.
03:26 You will not answer.
03:30 Now if someone asks you, why did you take an oath three times, what will you say?
03:36 You were poor before, now you are studying, what will you say?
03:43 I have given a job, so I will say.
03:49 What are you saying?
03:58 The political landscape in Bihar remains dynamic, with Nidhish Kumar securing his position,
04:03 but not without intense scrutiny from the opposition.
04:06 As the state moves forward, it will be interesting to see how these developments shape the future of Bihar politics.
