This video chronicles the construction of a new "Village within a Village" in coastal town of Cohasset, Massachusetts. The pre-construction site was heavily overgrown and the contained a vacant 1950's ranch that had been vandalized and stripped of all copper plumbing when it was purchased by the developers. The site was difficult due to the existence of ledge throughout approximately 95% of the site including a ledge mound shown in the video. When completed this project produced a real estate boom in the immediate neighborhood causing one homeowner to thank the developer for "making me a rich women!" That was due the fact the the increase in value on her home she attributed to the development created equity that did not exist before. The Homes in Cohasset Village targeted "empty nester's" resulting in little impact of the cost of town services. The develop also rebuilt a water system for the abutting neighborhood saving the Town tens of thousands of dollars.
