02:11 The prestigious Michelin Guide ceremony for 2024 took place on Monday evening, announcing
02:17 which eateries have been awarded new stars, green stars and special awards.
02:22 The latest award winners were revealed at an event at Manchester's Midland Hotel.
02:26 However, restaurants in the south dominated the event with no Merseyside eateries receiving
02:32 new stars.
02:33 In fact, Liverpool has never had a Michelin star at any of its restaurants.
02:38 Merseyside lost its only star when Mark Wilson's Fresh moved from Wirral to Shropshire.
