00:16 not able to make it out of the group stage,

00:18 but that could be a sign of things to come, right?

00:21 How competitive it is beneath PSG.

00:23 Ligue 1 kind of has this unfair reputation

00:26 as a farmers league.

00:27 I know Cristiano Ronaldo the other day

00:29 said the Saudi Pro League is better than Ligue 1,

00:31 but there is a lot of talent in France.

00:34 The French national team is set up

00:36 for probably the next 10 to 15 years

00:38 because of all the kids that are coming through

00:41 and young French players are being picked off

00:43 and sold abroad,

00:44 or those that aren't are developing in the nation.

00:48 And we see Preston in the top four.

00:49 Like, I think that's incredible

00:51 that that's a pretty small club.

00:53 So there could be quite a few surprises behind PSG.

00:55 We also see at the bottom of the table,

00:57 Lyon sitting in 16th

00:59 and trying to get out of that muck

01:01 and trying to get back into the top half of the table

01:03 before the end of the season.

01:04 So don't sleep on the French League.

01:06 I know Cristiano Ronaldo might, but we shouldn't.
