00:00 If I make this, does that mean the Patriots are going to win the Super Bowl next year?
00:05 Yes or no?
00:07 What do you think?
00:09 I don't know about that one.
00:11 He doesn't know about that one! Alright, here we go.
00:13 For the Super Bowl!
00:15 Maybe not happening.
00:17 What's up playmakers?
00:19 It's Devin McCourty. This is BMW Tailgate Tour.
00:21 For football fans, Sunday is so much more than just a game.
00:23 It's an experience you can't find anywhere else.
00:25 I'm bringing you an interview with Devin McCourty.
00:27 I'm bringing you an inside look on how fans of your favorite team really get down.
00:29 As always, you know I'm here in style with the BMW X5 Hybrid.
00:31 I've been in a lot of SUVs, but nothing touching this.
00:33 The whole startup make it sound like we're going out of space.
00:35 And you know when you ride by, you know everybody looking at you like, man that's a nice car.
00:37 So it's a good feeling. I think you would take pride driving this car.
00:39 These fans, they don't just cheer when these teams win.
00:41 They're cheering all the time.
00:43 They're cheering when the team wins.
00:45 They're cheering when the team loses.
00:47 They're cheering when the team wins.
00:49 They're cheering when the team loses.
00:51 They're cheering when the team wins.
00:53 They're cheering when the team wins.
00:55 They're cheering all the time.
00:57 They're all in.
00:59 So I know in the tailgate, it's all about beating the other team.
01:01 They're going to come, jerseys on, all in, giving everything they got.
01:03 Many a times I've been in this stadium.
01:05 Luckily though, a lot of times for me, I walk away with a victory.
01:07 You can see right here, we got all this trunk space, all the tailgate essentials, ready to go.
01:09 Y'all see the car? You see all the capabilities?
01:11 Now let's go get some fan interviews.
01:13 Alright, we're here.
01:15 We're at MetLife.
01:17 We're here at the MetLife.
01:19 We're here at the MetLife.
01:21 We're here at the MetLife.
01:23 We're here at the MetLife.
01:25 We're here at the MetLife.
01:27 We're here at the MetLife.
01:29 We're here at the MetLife.
01:31 We're here at the MetLife.
01:33 We're here at the MetLife.
01:35 We're here at the MetLife.
01:37 We're here at the MetLife.
01:39 We're here at the MetLife.
01:41 We're here at the MetLife.
01:43 We're here at the MetLife.
01:45 We're here at the MetLife.
01:47 We're here at the MetLife.
01:49 We're here at the MetLife.
01:51 He was just outstanding.
01:53 Basically when I was watching him play for the defensive line and all that,
01:56 just seeing him shove players over and all that.
01:59 What is the go-to thing every time you go to a football game?
02:02 Probably my positivity.
02:04 No matter if the Packers win or lose,
02:06 it's all about the experience for me.
02:08 Show the camera the sign. Show them what you're rocking with.
02:10 Y'all hear it, Fox? Give Jordan Lovis Turkey Leg.
02:13 He showed out on Thanksgiving.
02:15 Big night, big game.
02:17 Kind of making the playoff push.
02:19 What do you expect to see from your team tonight?
02:22 I expect to see Jordan Love go off,
02:24 hopefully throw maybe three touchdowns for us. That'd be great.
02:26 What makes a Green Bay tailgate better than any team in the NFL?
02:31 A little colder, maybe a little more cheese, and then we'll be good to go.
02:35 What else is going on the grill?
02:37 We start with bacon, then we'll work out to a little burger, some brats, hot dogs.
02:43 Bacon sets the grill so it's ready to go for the rest of the evening.
02:47 How many hours do you need to get here before the game starts to have a real tailgate?
02:52 We're a little slow today, about three hours, but I'd say a good three, four hours.
02:56 We found our first mixed tailgate.
02:58 You can see right here we got New York, we got Green Bay.
03:02 First, tell me, what is it like when you come together for a tailgate
03:06 and you know we're family, we're close, but I'm not rooting for your team.
03:10 I hate you tonight.
03:11 We're never rooting for the same team ever, but that's what makes it fun.
03:14 You've got to mix it up a little.
03:16 All-time winningest franchise in sports history, the Green Bay Packers.
03:19 He didn't have to go there.
03:21 13-time world champions, and we have the most wins in the NFL history.
03:27 I don't need to talk to her.
03:29 He's not keeping track of anything. That just popped in his mind right now.
03:32 Do you like tailgates just Green Bay fans, or do you like someone to talk trash to
03:37 so when you win, you can go right in their face?
03:40 With the New York Giants, it is amazing to talk trash,
03:43 especially with what they've done over the past decade and a half.
03:47 They have devastated my dreams.
03:49 But you got Tommy DeVito.
03:53 What has been your favorite Super Bowl, the last two Super Bowls that the Giants won?
03:58 You've got to say David Tyree.
04:00 You've got to say beating the 19-0 Patriots that didn't happen.
04:04 I mean, come on. Those were some memorable moments. Come on.
04:08 All right, I'm a former Patriot, so you didn't have to go there.
04:11 That's kind of a sensitive subject, but I understand what you did there.
04:17 Nobody expected the Giants. That was--talk about underdog.
04:20 They had pure luck. We had skill.
04:23 Greatest of all time with Tom Brady.
04:26 Tom Brady even admires Aaron Rodgers.
04:29 And what he did, pure--
04:31 And Eli Matthews.
04:32 Tommy Cutlets.
04:33 What did Eli do?
04:34 Beat Brady twice.
04:35 If I make this, does that mean the Patriots are going to win the Super Bowl next year?
04:41 Yes or no?
04:43 What do you think?
04:45 I don't know about that one.
04:46 He doesn't know about that one.
04:48 All right, here we go.
04:49 For the Super Bowl--
04:52 Maybe not happening.
04:53 Do you take pleasure in beating everyone in your family a cornhole?
04:57 Of course. It's always a challenge. I love it.
05:00 I have to win every time.
05:02 You the athlete of the family?
05:04 Not the athlete, no.
05:05 Maybe cornhole. I like cornhole.
05:08 All right, we found something special.
05:09 This looks like the bus John Madden used to drive in.
05:12 When did you get the bus? And tell me--
05:14 Yeah, I did. Let me get a Packer bus.
05:16 This is actually my second bus.
05:18 It was a smaller one I had.
05:20 And then this one I wanted to go bigger, a little upgrade.
05:22 It's a little older. It's a 2000 model.
05:25 But I had a wrap put on it, and my whole family were all big Packer fans.
05:30 So we've been to Wisconsin many a time.
05:33 And it is just incredible.
05:36 Where are you traveling from? Where do you guys live?
05:37 Ontario. So a little small farming community in almost close to Detroit, really.
05:43 Took us nine hours to get here.
05:45 Why Green Bay, not Detroit?
05:47 Well, because the Lions have been the Lions forever.
05:49 You know that.
05:50 This is my brother-in-law.
05:52 Look at that right there.
05:56 What are the two things that the bus is always equipped with for the tailgate?
06:01 Well, music and beer.
06:04 The beer is probably number one, but that music system has to be--
06:07 you always have to be better than the next guy beside you.
06:10 What can Green Bay give you for the rest of this season that'll make you happy at this time of the year?
06:15 They win out. That'll be great.
06:17 Just to make the playoffs would be great.
06:20 And the further we can go in the playoffs, it'll even be better.
06:23 We did a little bit of the New York tailgate, the Green Bay tailgate.
06:27 We had a mixed tailgate where the family was going at it.
06:30 I don't know who's going to win that tonight, but it's going to be a key matchup.
06:33 But don't worry. You'll catch us on the next stop of the BMW tailgate tour.
06:38 Let's get out of here.
06:40 [MUSIC]
