00:04 the North West. A doting dad who died after his motorbike he was riding crashed in Wigan
00:10 was expecting his second child in just six weeks. Latham Darren Howarth was fatally injured
00:16 after the bike he was riding lost control and hit a fence post on Hall Lane in Aspel
00:21 on Saturday January 20th. His 16-year-old brother who he was riding with suffered minor
00:27 injuries. The 27-year-old from Tillsley who is one of 11 children leaves behind his devastated
00:33 family, girlfriend Amber, 2-year-old daughter Ariella and their unborn son.
00:40 A new pub and grill which promises to bring a taste of Texas and Louisiana to Lancashire
00:45 is set to open its doors near Preston. Henry's Smokehouse, a family-run restaurant named
00:50 after the owner's son, is set to open its doors in Kirkham at the former Black Valley

01:08 In other news, a man has been jailed after a drugs investigation in Low Bentham near
01:12 Lancaster. Officers from the Craven Neighbourhood Policing Team led a drugs warrant at an address
01:18 in Low Bentham in November 2022. Following a search, they located about £30,000 of cash
01:24 – a large quantity of white powder wrapped in packages and equipment linked to the packaging
01:30 and distribution of illegal drugs such as cell-sealed bags and digital scales.
01:37 Motorists face more delays in Burnley Town Centre as the next phase of works begins on
01:41 the town's turf scheme. A temporary road diversion has been put in place on the short
01:46 stretch of Yorkshire Street that goes past the Kirby Hotel and links to Croft Street

02:18 daylight. A ladies fashion boutique owner was left shaken when yobs threw a boulder
02:23 and paint at her shop window while she was inside. The incident happened at the Pretty
02:28 Little Boutique in Cleveley's at lunchtime on Tuesday, January 23rd.
02:34 The weather now is staying breezy throughout the day, particularly so in the coastal regions
