Transcript
00:00 Congratulations on the win Hugh, what is your reaction at this moment?
00:06 Obviously relieved that we got the job done, looking a little bit 50/50 there for a long period of time.
00:13 Relief now that the game is over and we got the points.
00:16 Excellent performance with the ball, what was your plan heading into the game?
00:21 Just to be patient, bowl four stumps with the occasional bumper.
00:27 Our bowling unit, they do all the plans there and they're all over it.
00:30 It's a pretty easy job as captain, just give the ball to them and you know they're going to get the job done.
00:35 Definitely. Did it surprise you how difficult it was to bat out there?
00:39 Yeah, it was just a little bit too paced. Some were just holding a little bit.
00:43 Credit to Nbibia, they bowled really well with the new ball and throughout.
00:48 It was tough batting conditions.
00:51 Were you nervous when you approached the target?
00:54 Obviously, always nervous. I think it's a good thing you care.
00:58 It was definitely nervous but once you get out there, you're in the moment.
01:02 Just come back to the present and enjoyed it.
01:05 That's great. What will you take going forward from this?
01:08 Obviously, it's always good to get a win. We didn't play our best cricket but we walked away with the points.
01:13 That's always positive. There's plenty of positive we can take from our bowling.
01:17 As I said earlier, we'll reflect on our batting and come up with a plan for the next couple of games.
01:22 Amazing. Congratulations again. Thank you.
01:25 Thank you.
