00:00Presuming he's fit, it'll be an emotional day for Casemiro on Sunday.
00:04Is he going to be available?
00:05And what can you say about him as he says goodbye to Old Trafford?
00:08Yeah, yeah, Cas is available.
00:13I can speak for him since I've been here and met him, obviously, and worked with him.
00:19I think he's been fantastic for us, for me personally, for us as a group.
00:23I think what he's given us, I've said it before,
00:25I think the clarity helps of knowing the situation and for him and for us,
00:31for him to get his head in the place of where he gives absolutely everything in every aspect,
00:38knowing that it was going to come to an end at the end of the season.
00:43And like I've said before, it's credit to him for the way he's gone about that.
00:48Just because it's coming to the end and there's clarity with it,
00:51it's easy to go the other way as well.
00:52But he's fully invested, he's fully supported us as the staff and the performances that he's given.
00:59So he's obviously had some ups and downs, like we all have in football over the years.
01:06But to finish so strongly and to see that connection that he's got with the supporters is really good to
01:11see.
01:12It doesn't sound like it's going to be your Old Trafford farewell on Sunday.
01:16I know you're sick of us asking about your future, but I kind of feel like we have to.
01:20Is the end in sight? Is there clarity coming?
01:23I can't blame you for asking, to be honest.
01:28Well, yeah, there's two games to go, right?
01:30So we knew, apart from that, there's not much else I can say is probably what you'd expect.
01:38I think the situation is pretty clear for us all.
01:40So same as, in terms of preparing for the game, really, planning for that and it doesn't change what I
01:48do this week.
01:51Michael, again, I appreciate you can't talk too much into the future, but what has it meant to you on
01:57a personal level to be leading this club and, you know, potentially to continue leading the players and this team?
02:04Because it feels like maybe something we've learned from you being in charge.
02:07It takes a unique individual to handle all the pressures inside and outside the club.
02:13It's a unique football club, special, special football club, you know, and yeah, I'm immensely proud to have come back
02:20and to be part of it, to help.
02:24As a supporter, as an ex-player and an ex-employee is one thing, but as a pure supporter and
02:30caring about the club so much, to be in a position to come back and help and for us as
02:36a group to move forward was important, I think, and to make the big step to get back into the
02:43Champions League is good.
02:47It's good and it's obviously we're happy with the work that we've done so far.
02:53Michael, same kind of thing, the fans are obviously eager to know what's happening as well.
02:59It's kind of customary for the manager to speak to them from the pitch after the final game. Will you
03:05be doing that?
03:07I think that's important, regardless of the situation. I think it's important because the supporters are a massive part of
03:13this club and we thank them and I've certainly thanked them for the season
03:20and the support and certainly in the last four months for however long it's been for me personally.
03:26So I know what you're getting at in terms of the future and what that brings, but I think regardless
03:32of that, I think for what we've gone through together so far
03:36and that connection and I've felt that, the players have felt that and seeing it in talks and individual players
03:41have felt it, as a group have felt it.
03:42So I think it's important that we have that anyway and certainly for us to thank the fans and for
03:48me to thank the fans for that is important.
03:52Michael, obviously you mentioned about Casimiro being okay, is Ben you and Sesco alright? Have you got any other issues?
04:00Ben's not as straightforward as Casimiro, he's still not 100% with the problem already had.
04:10So, yeah, apart from that, we're alright with it.
04:16Ty?
04:17Hi, Michael. You've spent the last four months now working with this group. I mean, whatever happens with your future,
04:23what do you think this team can achieve over the next couple of years?
04:26What should they be aiming for?
04:28Well, you've always got to aim upwards, for sure, and that's just the beauty of football and the beauty of
04:36competition, you know, to achieve something, to then back it up, to then improve on things.
04:41I think that's always the challenge and for the players, for the squad, for the whole group, for the football
04:49club, you know, we want to keep moving in a positive way and in the right direction.
04:53And the closer you get to the top, obviously, the less room for progress, but progress is certainly what needs
05:03to be aimed for.
05:07Hi, Michael. I think, sorry, on the same theme, apologies in advance, but how much involvement do you have in
05:13what the future might look like when you're talking to contract talks and things like that?
05:17Are you getting involved in that or is your focus on the football?
05:21Future for, as in squad, I?
05:22Yeah.
05:23Unless in the future, for me, it's going to be decided pretty soon, you know. We knew that was going
05:28to be towards the end of the season, if not the end of the season, so nothing's changed, there's no
05:33big swing on that. That is what it is, you know.
05:36And obviously, whatever's beyond that is pretty close around the corner, anyway.
05:42Catherine?
05:46So...
05:50Can you move on to Ian?
05:53Yeah, sorry, Michael, just a quick one on Stephen Holland, because obviously, you know, he's, you've been in the spotlight
06:00a lot.
06:01I just wondered what sort of impact he's had. A lot of people have mentioned him, obviously, because he's quite
06:05high profile with his England background.
06:07What's sort of been his value to the project since you've been here?
06:11Yeah, Steve's been, he's been fantastic.
06:15He's got an awful lot of experience, you know, and I've seen pretty much everything before and gone through it
06:21in some good times and in some more challenging times.
06:24So, he's a very wise man, Steve, and says things that really are important at the right time.
06:35And I think just general calmness and composure around and for everyone, for me and for my staff and for
06:41the players as well.
06:42And I think all the staff, the dynamics of bringing, like I've said it before, of bringing something a little
06:48bit different.
06:49Steve, obviously, is in that role where he's got the experience for us and for us to lean on.
06:55And there's absolutely no shame on him at all.
