What’s on guide: live performances across Wales

The New Theatre in Cardiff is set to take a step into the past when the Glam Rock show comes to the city at the end of the month. Featuring music from T-Rex, David Bowie, Slade and much more, get your eye liner primed, and your leathers ready for a big night of glam, taking place on the 30th January.
If glam rock’s not your thing and you’re in the mood for some soul, then the Swansea grand theatre is the place to be where the Story of Soul comes to the city bringing to life some iconic musicians, with music from Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and more. Coming to Swansea on the 26th January.
And in up north, best new musical 2022 nomination the Drifters Girl is coming to Venue Cymru in Llandudno. It tells the story of the Drifters and the woman who helped form them, Faye Treadwell, and their journey through big hit highs, and personal lows. Coming to the north Wales coast on 23rd January.
