00:00 2007 and that was my first time in India. First of all we went to Mumbai, didn't we?
00:06 Yeah, I remember we landed in Mumbai and obviously the first impression was
00:11 I'm in a different world, you know, coming from Europe and I remember all the taxi drivers
00:21 trying to get customers as soon as you were out the airport and the heat, there was a lot of heat,
00:27 we arrived very late at night and then so we managed to get a taxi which was a sort of old Fiat car,
00:34 yellow and black and then we drove to the place where we were staying and I remember that
00:43 like there were a real jump procession with a few statues and people
00:51 colouring red and that was all very, you know, like exotic for me and so all that was beautiful
00:58 then we arrived to the hotel and the hotel was closed but there was somebody sleeping
01:02 outside the door even though it was crazy time at night and he woke up and he basically brought up
01:10 to the room. So how did you like India as a tourist destination? I mean you visited Goa,
01:15 the beaches and all? Now in terms of Goa, the incredible thing was obviously there were amazing
01:22 sunsets, you had cows walking on the beach or something that's not everywhere, you know,
01:29 maybe in Ireland, not as far as the seaside or the shore. What we love is the tradition about it.
01:38 The tradition, yes, the colours, the smell and I think the culture, you know, I think it's
01:46 very important to preserve that. Subscribe to One India channel and never miss an update.
