00:00 Labour supports the targeted action that we've seen overnight by the United States and the UK.
00:08 It's important to understand that the Houthis had had successive warnings since November the 19th.
00:16 It was important we supported the task force of 14 countries that came together just a few weeks
00:24 ago and when there are warnings it's important to act when they're not followed. So we supported
00:30 the targeted action, we thought that it was necessary, that it was proportionate, but it's
00:37 important that we're able to challenge and question the Prime Minister when he comes to Parliament
00:43 on Monday. My understanding is that the action was targeted at military sites, it was aimed at
00:50 degrading the ability to fire missiles into the Red Sea, that targeted commercial vehicles,
00:58 targeted military personnel and civilian personnel in the Red Sea. That was the nature of the action.
01:08 Of course the Houthis will continue with the violence that Yemen has witnessed over many, many years.
