00:00 People are still headed out to the
00:02 stores grabbing shovels, salt and fuel
00:04 for their snow blowers. The Accuweather
00:06 Wintercast is calling for four to eight
00:08 inches of snow here in Wilkes-Barre.
00:10 It's been more than two years since
00:12 that much snow has fallen here in
00:14 Northeast Pennsylvania. I'm excited
00:16 'cause I love snow days,
00:17 so the more I get to stay inside
00:19 and watch it from my window,
00:21 the better. So I'm pretty excited.
00:23 It's been pretty light the last couple years.
00:26 I grew up in Florida,
00:27 so the snow is my favorite part
00:29 of my life, so when I don't get it,
00:32 it's it's sad. Vehicle restrictions
00:34 are now in place on several highways,
00:36 including Interstates 80 and 81.
00:37 Pennsylvania's Department of
00:39 Transportation is urging drivers.
00:40 If you have to be out in these conditions,
00:43 make sure you have emergency supplies
00:45 as well as food and bottled water
00:47 in your car in case you end up
00:50 stuck or stranded in Wilkes-Barre,
00:51 PA for Accuweather. I'm Bill Waddell.
