00:00 Alright, well, my friends, I'm afraid you're going to have to brace yourself for some unabashed,
00:08 worshipful, humble, deeply grateful praise.
00:14 Yes, brace yourself.
00:16 I know praise can be a scarce commodity in this here planet, but I'm going to tell you,
00:20 my friends, I praise you.
00:23 I thank you.
00:25 I appreciate you for supporting this show.
00:28 My gosh, the stuff we've done just in the last year, last year or two.
00:32 I mean, there have been a couple of novels, the Peaceful Parenting draft is done, the
00:37 audio book is coming along, 22-part History of Philosophers series, 12-plus hours on the
00:42 French Revolution, call-in shows, live streams.
00:46 I'm back doing a couple of interviews and Q&As and, oh my gosh, just massive amounts
00:53 of stuff that has been done because of you, because of you and your support.
00:59 Of course, in the hurly-burly of life and the wild excitement of edgelord philosophy,
01:05 it can be easy to let that drift in my mind.
01:08 I know that if you haven't listened to live streams, you haven't heard me thank you directly,
01:11 but I'm just telling you, I appreciate it every day.
01:16 The glory of being able to talk philosophy to the world with your support is something
01:20 that I never take for granted.
01:22 I do consider myself one of the luckiest people on the planet and part of that luck, I mean,
01:26 I've got my own courage and fortitude and so on and that's all great stuff, but really,
01:32 it does come down to your support, your interest, your listening, your sharing, your donations
01:37 and everything to do with that.
01:39 I take that for granted never.
01:42 It's the old thing that if you don't take something for granted, make sure the other
01:46 person knows you don't take it for granted.
01:49 I'm afraid you're just going to have to grit your teeth and endure the sandstorm, firestorm,
01:55 tsunami of praise and gratitude and thanks coming from me for everything that you do
02:02 to help support philosophy.
02:04 This show has changed the lives of millions of people and has saved millions of children
02:12 from abuse and has helped however many children being born, I seem to be getting wedding invites
02:20 and notifications on a pretty regular basis.
02:23 What we've done to change the world can never be undone.
02:28 The mind once shaped by a new idea never returns to its original shape and the world once impacted
02:33 by rational, compassionate philosophy and the way that we talk about it here will never
02:37 return to the way that it was and I'm just enormously, deeply, massively thankful and
02:45 grateful for your support and I just hope that you know that every day I think about
02:51 it, every day I appreciate it and every day I try to earn your good regard with good works.
02:59 Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much my friends.
03:03 I guess I'll talk to you tonight.
