Holiday homes maker, Willerby, has confirmed about 200 jobs are at risk as it plans to cut production due to a slump in sales.

00:23 The company currently employs about 1,100 people.

00:28 In April, the company reported record turnover and profits for 2022, the best results in

00:33 its 77-year history.

00:35 However, the company has now said that a significant decline in holiday park and residential park

00:41 home sales has left it with no choice but to adapt to the very challenging market conditions.

00:47 Only two out of five production lines have been operating this week and the company is

00:51 expected to operate the same reduced hours next week before its annual Christmas shutdown.

00:58 In January, there will be a period of short time working for all production.
