00:00 We are seeing, I think, the desperate last days of a dying government over this Rwanda
00:06 legislation.
00:07 It is really important we stop these dangerous boats, but this bill isn't going to work.
00:15 It's costing millions and millions of pounds.
00:18 And instead of a never-ending cycle, a merry-go-round of bills that are put forward that don't work,
00:24 we want to see the money spent on that Rwanda bill being spent to crack down on the criminal
00:29 gangs who are driving these dangerous boat crossings.
00:31 So we will be voting against the bill.
00:34 I think they're in total chaos, but I'm sure they'll get the bill through because Tory
00:40 MPs don't want to have a general election because they know how much the country wants
00:47 to see change happening.
00:49 So I think Rishi Sunak will get that bill through.
00:53 The trouble is it won't work.
00:56 You know, we've seen huge legal disagreement over it.
00:59 We've seen it going round and round and round in the courts.
01:02 And instead of spending all this time on something that won't work, they need to put in place
01:07 a proper plan to end those boat crossings, tackle the criminal gangs who are driving
01:12 it and to end the hotel use for asylum seekers, which is costing taxpayers millions of pounds.
