00:00Well, here in Westminster, we've spent the last four years listening to residents and then building a plan based on
00:05those ideas that they've come forward with.
00:08We then put that into a plan and presented it to the public. And because it was their ideas, they
00:14liked it, and then they voted for us.
00:17And Westminster here bucking the trend of it, though. The results so far, so the Conservatives have lost over 100
00:23councils so far across the country. Why do you think Westminster's bucking the trend?
00:28Well, I think we've worked incredibly hard here. We have always been a very progressive party here in Westminster, and
00:36we often lead the way in the changes in the nation for the party.
00:40So we hope that we will be able to deliver a great Conservative Council here and perhaps show people what
00:47Conservative councils can do.
00:48Well, look, I mean, clearly, reform is winning councils. That is of concern. But Kemi is doing a great job
00:56leading the party, pulling us together, and turning us back into a fighting machine that can win elections.
01:01And what's the first thing you're going to do now you're back in Paris?
01:04Well, the very first thing I said I'd do is to appoint a Cabinet member for enforcement, and that's what
01:08I'm going to be doing tomorrow.
