W Zespole Szkół Niepublicznych w Piechcinie w sobotę (09.12.2023) zorganizowano po raz szósty wielkie pieczenie pierników. Podczas wydarzenia jubileusz 20-lecia obchodził działający przy szkole Klub Wolontariatu Razem. Nie zabrakło więc pysznego tortu.

00:00 Today we have the sixth edition of the "Baked Bread" campaign

00:06 as part of our charity and social activities.

00:10 Last year we baked 3,774 bread with volunteers.

00:16 This year we want to break the record and bake over 4,000 of them.

00:20 The total income from our today's campaign,

00:23 because it is a summary of 12 months of work for the sake of another person,

00:28 is for organizing Christmas Eve for our caregivers,

00:33 for organizing Christmas gifts,

00:36 and for organizing a holiday for children from the rural areas

00:40 and children from orphanages, who we have been taking care of for 20 years.

00:44 On December 6, 2003, I organized the first charity action

00:48 for children from the rural area of Piechcin.

00:51 That's when it all started.

00:54 Today, this is a club that has over 500 volunteers.

00:59 Over the past 20 years, we have helped over 1,000 people.

01:04 These are institutions such as orphanages,

01:08 children's homes, rural shelters,

01:11 support centers for victims of violence,

01:14 homeless people and Novroclavia,

01:17 the Animal Shelter, the Toruń Dog Association.

01:20 Today, we have a lot of individual people who we help.

01:24 We support them through contacts with notaries, lawyers,

01:33 legal advisors, construction companies.

01:37 People who apply to us often apply through the website.

01:42 We take care of them in a complex way,

01:45 because in various life situations in which these people meet,

01:48 we simply give them our hands, we give them time,

01:51 we give them ourselves, but above all, we give them hope.

01:55 And it is the most important thing that this person feels that she is taken care of,

01:59 but that despite the situation that she has encountered,

02:02 there is still a chance that she will be fine.
