McDonald's is opening a new concept restaurant called CosMc's, focused on beverages and snacks. The drink menu at CosMc's will include lattes, slushes, teas, and more options not available on the regular McDonald's menu. Customers can add "boosts" like energy shots or vitamin C to their drinks. The menu offers a variety of desserts like ice cream cones and sundaes, snacks like pretzel bites and donuts, as well as sandwich choices including spicy queso, avocado tomatillo, and McMuffins. CosMc's restaurants will be smaller than regular McDonald's with some having multiple drive-thru lanes. The first CosMc's location will open in Bolingbrook, Illinois. McDonald's plans to open 10 CosMc's locations through 2024, primarily in the Dallas-Fort Worth and San Antonio areas.
