00:14 in New York City.

00:15 And this is where I'm about to hit the stage

00:17 right down there in a little bit.

00:28 My very first tour headlining ever.

00:32 I'm doing a combination of songs

00:33 from "Jaguar One" and "Jaguar Two".

00:35 So you get like kind of two of my projects in one tour.

00:39 It's just really awesome.

00:40 I'm excited to be doing this.

00:42 [upbeat music]

00:44 If I had to pick my favorite songs

00:49 to perform from "Jaguar One" and "Jaguar Two",

00:51 I think I would bookend it.

00:52 My show starts with "Moment", which is from "Jaguar One".

00:55 And it's always exciting to see the crowd

00:58 for the very first time.

00:59 Everyone's just like super in tune.

01:01 All the phones are out.

01:02 So that's always really exciting.

01:04 And then the finale is really fun.

01:07 I do a song from "Jaguar Two" called "On My Mama".

01:10 There's a lot of energy surrounding it.

01:12 It's on the radio right now, so it feels very current.

01:17 ♪ On my hood ♪

01:19 Dance from the music video is somewhat viral.

01:22 So I can see people doing it in the audience.

01:24 So that always makes it more like an interactive part

01:26 of the show, which feels really fun too.

01:31 To see "On My Mama" become my first solo Hot 100 entry

01:39 is really insane.

01:40 I've been writing for so long,

01:42 and I've seen glimpses of it for my pen,

01:45 but not for me as an artist.

01:46 So it's really like a whole new light for me.

01:49 I'm super excited.

01:50 I'm really grateful.

01:52 I know how much it takes to get an accolade now.

01:55 So I'm just thankful for everyone

01:57 that's behind the scenes pushing it.

01:59 Every person at radio, everybody who's streaming it

02:02 and sharing with their friends and just making it go

02:04 and do what it's doing.

02:05 I just have a really good understanding of what it takes

02:08 to be anywhere in your Hot 100.

02:10 So I'm very, very thankful.

02:11 And now we are headed to talk to the Grammy U students.

02:17 When I first came into the music scene,

02:23 I feel like it was kind of an unsaid thing

02:26 that women were just pit against each other.

02:29 And like, there's only room for one.

02:30 There's only one queen.

02:31 Like, just this weird hierarchy that Hollywood made up.

02:34 So to see that they're like,

02:36 loudly and proudly celebrating me and like, I'm seen,

02:40 and it just feels really good to be appreciated

02:43 and like, complimented by people who I admire as well.

02:46 So it feels like the feeling is mutual.

02:48 It's really, really sweet and special.

02:56 Being on tour as a mom is really hard, to be honest.

03:01 It's very taxing and it takes a lot of organization

03:06 and a lot of sacrifice.

03:08 What I try to do is bring my daughter into my world,

03:11 bring her with me on tour when I can,

03:13 bring her to the stage,

03:14 kind of give her a sense of what mommy's doing

03:17 and why she's maybe gone for certain stretches of time

03:20 and like, you know, have her be a part of it.

03:22 When she comes on tour, she's very excited.

03:24 She knows some of the choreography already.

03:27 It's almost like I am planting a seed

03:30 for a performer in her right now too.

03:32 So it's like a combination of, but bittersweet, you know,

03:35 just having to be away,

03:36 but also having the privilege to bring her with me to work.

04:08 ever since I started getting interested in it.

04:11 there's Aaliyah, there's Beyonce,

04:13 certain people who've just always been there.

04:15 So to even consider doing something with her

04:18 is really crazy,

04:19 but also says a lot about her tenacity

04:21 and her like hunger as an artist

04:23 to still be making music, you know,

04:25 she's still on top.

04:27 She still looks amazing.

04:28 She's still giving us dance viral hits.

04:32 And so I'm thankful to even have the opportunity

04:35 to consider something like that.

04:36 It feels really wild,

04:37 but yes, I would absolutely love to do anything with Sierra.

05:26 so I wouldn't be performing to track if I have the option.

05:34 because I've found that throughout this tour,

05:36 my fans are really, really nice.
