00:03 My name is Dr Lisa Searle.
00:06 I am attached this morning to the main gate
00:08 which leads into the head office of forestry
00:11 Corporation NSW.
00:12 I am here this morning
00:13 taking action
00:16 with forest defence NSW, South East forest
00:18 rescue and the Bob Brown Foundation.
00:21 We are here to send a strong message to
00:24 forestry Corporation NSW and to Chris
00:25 Minns
00:28 and to the Australian government.
00:30 Trees are being pushed further and further
00:32 to the brink of extinction
00:33 including the greater glider and the koala,
00:35 one of our iconic native species.
00:37 These and so many other species
00:39 depend on Australia's native forests
00:42 to live and to breed and to survive.
00:44 The logging of native forests
00:47 all across Australia has to end.
00:49 We are in the middle of a climate and
00:52 biodiversity crisis and trees
00:53 are continuing to fall
00:55 every single day
00:57 and we are in a time of crisis.
01:00 We are in a time of crisis.
01:03 We are in a time of crisis.
01:05 We are in a time of crisis.
