00:53 R&B singer Cassie has filed a lawsuit
00:56 accusing longtime romantic partner
00:58 and hip hop mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs
01:00 of physical abuse and rape.
01:02 Cassie, full name Cassandra Ventura,
01:04 claims she endured over a decade of his violent behavior
01:07 and disturbed demands, including repeated physical beatings
01:10 and being forced to engage in sex acts
01:13 with male sex workers while Diddy masturbated.
01:15 The lawyer representing Cassie said in a statement,
01:18 "Ms. Ventura has now fully escaped Mr. Combs,
01:20 but the harm that the assaults and sexual abuse
01:22 he caused her to experience for nearly a decade
01:25 will forever haunt her.
01:26 She cannot, however, continue to live in silence
01:29 about what she endured.
01:30 Mr. Combs remains immensely powerful
01:33 and immensely dangerous."
01:35 Diddy's attorney responded saying,
01:36 "For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected
01:39 to Ms. Ventura's persistent demand of $30 million
01:43 under the threat of writing a damaging book
01:45 about their relationship,
01:46 which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail.
01:49 Despite withdrawing her initial threat,
01:51 Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit
01:53 riddled with baseless and outrageous lies,
01:56 aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs' reputation
01:58 and seeking a payday."
02:00 Cassie and Diddy had an on-and-off-again relationship
02:02 for 11 years until they split in 2018.

03:18 I just thought about some kind of our old songs,
03:22 how that kind of lyrics was being,
03:25 so, yeah, boom, it just happened.
03:29 And then, of course, y'all have Miss TikTok herself,
03:32 Bella Porsche, on the track.
03:34 So that has to be really cool.
03:36 How did that come about?
03:37 So it's our first ever sort of collaboration
03:41 with the, you know, artists from the States
03:44 or, you know, outside of Korea.
03:46 We were just so honored and so surprised
03:48 when we heard that she was gonna be on the song.
03:50 And, you know, you know how "Sweet Venom"
03:54 has the English version, so it's--
03:55 I feel like a lot of people that speak English
03:59 are gonna be more able to, you know,
04:02 listen to the song more easily
04:04 and just enjoy the whole "Sweet Venom" sort of project.
