00:00 - Hey, it's Billboard here with Jimmy Jam.
00:02 How are you doing?
00:02 - I'm wonderful, how are you?
00:03 - Good.
00:04 So how does it feel to be here at Femme Ford,
00:06 give her flowers?
00:07 What is it like honoring women tonight?
00:09 - It's wonderful honoring women.
00:10 I was thinking about it as I was on my way here,
00:13 that women have basically led all the companies
00:15 that Terry and I have been involved with over the years.
00:19 So I think it's appropriate.
00:20 And also on this particular day,
00:22 I think it's extra cool
00:24 because we just had the Grammy nominations
00:27 where the women cleaned up,
00:29 led by SZA, who's here tonight.
00:31 And just an amazing array of talent.
00:33 So I just think it's a night of celebration
00:36 and a night of recognition.
00:37 - Amazing, and who are you most excited to see tonight?
00:40 - I'm SZA's top of the list.
00:42 There's also a younger artist named Mayta
00:44 who we're working with in the studio right now,
00:45 who's gonna sing a song tonight,
00:47 and I'm excited to see her.
00:48 She's absolutely my favorite.
00:50 - And who are some women that are coming up
00:52 that you're looking forward to, you're like, wow,
00:55 I'm excited to see her, keep going.
00:57 - Well, Mayta's top of the list,
00:59 but I'm also really excited about people like Coco Jones,
01:03 people like Victoria Monet.
01:08 There's a lot of great young, well, younger singers
01:11 that are coming up that I really love,
01:13 and hopefully we'll get a chance to work with at some point.
