Hundreds volunteer at Tel Aviv cooking school turned humanitarian hub for displaced

In the aftermath of Hamas' brutal 7 October attack on Israel, a cooking school near Tel Aviv has taken on a new role as a humanitarian hub for the hundreds displaced.

00:17 He now manages volunteers who come to this school in Tel Aviv for those displaced by

00:21 the Hamas attacks.

00:22 "We try to feed families who have relatives who have been taken hostage, or families who

00:28 are in mourning, and families who have had to leave the south or the north, because we

00:33 have problems on both our borders now."

00:36 More than 1,500 meals are prepared here and delivered daily.

00:40 Much of the fresh produce comes from the areas hit by the October 7 attacks near the Gaza

00:45 Strip.

00:46 "We buy from the farmers who have lost everything and we give healthy, nutritious food to the

00:53 refugees here now."

00:57 About 50 professional chefs from Israel and abroad come here every day.
