Bedliner vs. Dry Ice.
Transcript
00:00 Alright, so this is the slurry of isopropyl rubbing alcohol and dry ice that I got from
00:10 the grocery store up the road.
00:12 You're supposed to mix it together and pour it on.
00:16 It makes sort of a gel is what they say.
00:22 And then you're supposed to hear cracking and stuff.
00:24 I don't hear any cracking, but it's supposed to make the bed liner really cold, which in
00:30 theory is what's happening.
00:33 It's definitely not anything easier than just without isopropyl rubbing alcohol and ice
00:47 or dry ice.
00:48 Well, maybe a little bit.
00:49 It smells good.
00:54 It smells like vodka if you're into that kind of thing.
01:02 But yeah, this is certainly not any easier than doing this without the smoke show.
01:19 I mean, it might be scraping it up.
01:31 I'm not sure it's worth the hassle and expense of trying to, well, although the dry ice was
01:35 cheap and the rubbing alcohol you might have.
01:40 But it's not just flaky.
01:49 I mean, I'm still going to have to work to get this off.
01:57 It may well work on sound deadening, but I'm giving it a... doesn't really do much on the
02:07 sound of it, but it's a nice, super crappy, thin kind of bed liner this is.
02:13 In all honesty, this is about the same as just having a sharp razor blade in this thing.
02:19 It'll peel this bed liner right up.
02:23 I'm using this worn out old razor blade.
02:26 I'm going to find a new razor blade and show you what that looks like.
02:29 (laughing)
