00:07 Okay, here we are in the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T.
00:13 We're on the figure 8 course.
00:16 We'll see what it does.
00:18 We're in second gear.
00:20 There's a bit of understeer there, but if you get on throttle, it'll exit and get the JL out there.
00:27 I'll let it hold it.
00:30 Good acceleration in third gear, braking.
00:33 Understeer there. If I get on the throttle, though, you see the tail coming out a bit.
00:38 Very controllable throttle.
00:41 Third.
00:44 Second.
00:45 I did notice that going to second sometimes you can miss it and hit a sort of a dead-end notch.
00:52 It doesn't work so well.
00:55 A little bit of a clunk in the drivetrain there.

01:00 I'll get some understeer going and then get on throttle.
01:03 It'll understeer more for a bit and then the tail starts to come around, so it's a two-stage effect.

01:17 I'm getting a little hot by now.
01:21 It's a very controllable car with the throttle.
01:24 The steering is a perfect light for my taste.
01:27 I'd like a little bit more steering effort.
01:30 Not a tremendous amount of steering feel, but enough to understand what's going on and not get lost.
01:38 A bit of a shudder there in the drivetrain.
01:41 That could be a smoother.
01:46 Very controllable throttle. I'm getting on and off there.
01:49 I'm really able to control the attitude of the car.
01:54 Car in the figure-eight.
01:56 Some amount of body roll, not too bad.
01:59 Maybe a little more than I'd expect.
02:04 The sound of the engine is a bit workman-like.
02:10 You can hear that roar.
02:12 It's not a particularly pleasant sound, but it's not unpleasant either.
02:15 It's the engine doing its job.
02:18 So there we are.
02:20 A pleasant car.
02:21 I think the most noticeable feature is its controllability.
02:25 Fundamentally understeers, as all cars do.
02:28 If you drive it very smoothly, you could get into a lot of understeer.
02:34 But if you're a little bit more abrupt with the inputs, particularly the throttle inputs,
02:40 you can definitely rotate the car a great deal.
02:44 So you need to know what you're doing.
02:47 It's a very drivable automobile.
