00:00 I'm joined now by Jermaine Harrington from the Angel Hotel winner of the WS

00:07 Training Apprentice or Trainee of the Year Award. Congratulations Jermaine.

00:13 I'm speechless to be fair. I wasn't expecting it. I worked really

00:20 hard and then when my manager told me he'd put me through for it, it was

00:23 an achievement in itself to even be here. So when I found out I'd won I was

00:27 ecstatic and I'm really happy to be here. Tell us more about the

00:31 the hard work that you do at the Angel. I'm in five days a week doing

00:35 long hours and it's just really tough but I'm really enjoying it. Working

00:41 so hard every day, trying to do my best, trying to be a better member of the team,

00:45 trying to get other members of the team involved too and encourage everyone.

00:51 So yeah it's really good. I'm really happy with it. What are your ambitions

00:54 for the future? My ambition for the future, I would like to be a head chef in the

00:58 future. I'm still gonna stick at the Angel, gonna get my skills to the best

01:03 they can be there and then hopefully move on to bigger and better things when I'm

01:06 in the future. And maybe even be a head chef at the Angel one day.

01:09 Well good luck to you. I mean I grew up around here and you know there was always

01:14 like yeah it's such a great place the Angel and people go oh there's Hollywood

01:18 I think Brad Pitt might be staying there this weekend. I don't know if that was

01:21 ever true but it's an A-list hotel isn't it? Yeah it's really good.

01:26 We have famous people coming in all the time. Like last week we had Sam

01:29 Mawsey, the Yipsters town captain, come in for breakfast which I made his breakfast

01:32 for him so that was an honour. He's a really good footballer. I'm a Norris City fan so that's all.

01:36 A bit awkward. But yeah it's a really lovely hotel. I'm more than

01:42 happy to work there and I've been there for a long time now and I love

01:46 everyone I work with and it's just a really good place to work.
