00:00 On behalf of Tuxedo Labs and Saber Interactive,
00:06 I'd like to introduce you to Teardown,
00:08 a sandbox game that features
00:10 a simulated and fully destructible voxel world.
00:14 Built with a cutting edge custom game engine,
00:17 beautiful environments are brought to life in
00:19 a one-of-a-kind way using interactive and realistic physics.
00:24 Teardown features a bunch of ways to play.
00:28 There are story campaigns, sandbox and creative modes,
00:31 as well as a bunch of user-created mods you can
00:33 install to completely change your experience.
00:37 Teardown's campaign hands you
00:40 a struggling demolition business under a pile of debt.
00:44 To save your business,
00:45 you start accepting jobs from
00:47 a variety of shady characters who task you with things like
00:49 blowing up private property,
00:51 stealing competitor secrets, and
00:53 a bunch of other questionable activities.
00:56 But these jobs come with risk.
00:59 You'll have to plan your escape route
01:01 carefully or the police will catch you in the act.
01:05 As you succeed and take on more work,
01:07 you'll start to turn a profit and gather an arsenal of
01:10 super destructive tools to conquer even bigger jobs.
01:14 From sledgehammer to blowtorch,
01:17 rocket launcher to nitroglycerin,
01:20 you're bound to find the right tool for each job.
01:23 If you're interested in using
01:25 these tools in a less structured environment,
01:27 Teardown features a freeform sandbox mode.
01:31 No heists to plan, no time pressures,
01:34 just a bunch of levels where you can mess
01:36 around with physics and explosions.
01:40 You can also toggle on creative mode,
01:44 opening up a new suite of tools for
01:46 building whatever you can dream up out of brick,
01:48 glass, and the various other materials found in the game world.
01:52 Everything you create then exists as part of
01:55 the fully simulated and destructible world.
01:57 We look forward to seeing the crazy creations
02:00 that you can come up with.
02:02 If you want to see some of the more complex creations
02:06 that players have already come up with,
02:08 then checking out our selection of
02:09 user-created mods is just for you.
02:12 What started as an Indie physics simulation project
02:16 has become a world of wondrous creativity.
02:19 We look forward to seeing what the players will
02:22 create or the clever ways they'll think up to destroy
02:25 when Teardown comes to consoles later this year.
